As many of you know this Saturday (April 28th. ), is the Autism Crop at St. Mary's Hospital. Knowing I would be busy this week I got a head start on this week's M&T. Since I designed last week, I kept with the same colors as last week's. The fence & vine (which is really a wreath), die cuts are from Poppystamps. The greeting is a Flourishes set Country Charms, and it is cut with a matching Spellbinders die cut- Grommets. The post is from Elegant Posts from Spellbinders as well. It is a fairly simple card, with simple, nice thoughts. Stop by this week from Tuesday through Friday, to make this card.
Remember, we are closed on Saturday for the Autism Crop.
Studio is closed, due to fire.

Mister Huey's by American Crafts
As many of the "regulars" will know, we have only carried one mister in our retail. However, Jennie McGarvey is crazy about these by American Crafts, and since she was a guest designer on their blog (and will be teaching them soon), we decided to give them a try. Her favorite is the Opaque White, I see snow in the winter, and we can always do clouds now. If you want to give them a try, or add to your collection, here are the colors we are starting with.
Memory Box Die Cuts
We finally got our shipment of Memory Box and Poppystamps die cuts in. Here are a few of the die cuts.
Hello Spring- Little Yellow Bicycle
We have a new line in from LYB, called Hello Spring. Just the thing to get us all in the mood for some nicer weather. Whether you are a card maker or scrapbooker, there is a paper or embellishment in this series for you.

Michelle Zindorf is visiting us!
How exciting, a celebrity is coming to do some workshops at our place. Michelle Zindorf is known for her Brayering Expertise and all the lovely cards she makes using that technique.
Here is a link to her site, so you can register with her. Don't wait. I know it's the end of the year, but as we get older it does seem to come up on us sooner!! Speaking for myself!

M&T week of April 17th.
The M&T this week is mainly using die cuts. I have bought a few (actually lots) of them lately and decided it was time to put some to use.
The paper I used is a Melissa Frances and I wanted to use a clean, uncluttered design. I had a combination of Spellbinders and Poppystamps die cuts. The stamps are by Flourishes and I used an Espresso ink by Adirondak.
Hope you can make it by to do a kit with us.

M&T week of April10th.
Our M&T is a bright spring like card. I used paper from the Miss Caroline series from My Mind's Eye. A Sizzix die, Labels Ten and Fancy Labels 2 from Spellbinders were also used. The background yellow is Scattered Straw from the Tim Holtz Distressed Coredinations line.
The ribbon is a Stampin' UP! satin, a beautiful color of yellow called Daffodil Delight.
The buttons I found in a Vintage Shop in Granville OH and then colored them with COPICs to pick up the colors of the paper.
If you don't like the greeting you can change it. Several ladies have put a Happy Birthday greeting on it instead. Come in anytime through Friday at 4pm, then we put it away for Late Create night.
We are almost full, so call to register and don't miss out. Friday the 13th. is not unlucky for us.

M&T for week of April 2nd.
I used Moxxie paper (Spring is Sprung), for my Easter card. It is very different, in that the colors are much darker than you would expect for Easter (or even Spring). However, I think it turned out nicely.
The rose colored card stock is the Kraft Core from Tim Holtz, and the greeting is from Stampin' Up!
I found this ribbon at a Vintage Store in Granville, OH when my daughter & I went over her spring break. It wasn't until I had the colors picked out and eggs already die cut, that I noticed the sheer ribbon matched perfectly. I know it was a May Arts ribbon.
The egg die cuts are from Poppystamps. It has 2 actually dies. One die is the egg base and the other the fancy covering. I used the Xyron to put adhesive on the top part of the egg base, then after attaching the fancy covering, I sprinkled it with glitter, to cover the remainder of adhesive on the front. A nice touch using Art Institute crystal glitter.
The grass die is also from Poppystamps.
Stop by this week and do the M&T for $3.00
