Jennie McGarvy

We are thrilled to have one of the designers on the Lifestyles Crafts Blog (formally QuicKutz) in our area. She will be teaching a 2 page layout and a card, using the new Lifestyles doily die cuts.
She admits her style is simple, and I think it will appeal to any scrapper.
Her little guy is a real cutie!
Thursday, March 12th. at 6pm Cost is $18.00
Call to register. 490 4790
Check out her blog, listed on my side bar. "Scrappy Wife, Happy Life".

Wall Art Tray with Kimmay

Kimmay has made a few of these Trays to hang on the wall, and is offering a class on the 10th., at 6:00pm
Different papers will be used. She is using a combination of Simple Stories Prima &Graphic 45
But the idea is the same, to have memorabilia and different photos and trinkets that are personal to you.
This is one sample she has made. The tray was originally made to display ATC's. It is a smaller version of a font drawer, with all the areas the same size to hold ATC's.

M&T for week of March 27th.

The M&T this week is a stamped image & greeting are from My Favorite Things. I do think the image is of a girl, but could be a boy if you cut the hair off shorter.
The paper is Echo Park, "Daydreamer & Boy Wonder" . I believe the cloud die is from Paper Trey (I got it a few years ago).
Cost is $3.00 Just bring your adhesive, scissors & pop dots to make it.
The coloring may be difficult for someone who has never used COPICs, but I made a key to follow. My second and third one always look better (this is my first try).

Our Creative Generations....

Here are 2 samples of cards created by 2 different generations. Both are unique. The strawberry card was made by Pat Whitaker at Late Create (using Flourishes stamp).
Pat always has such lovely designs and coloring.
The second card with girlfriends, is an original drawing by Caroline Brown. Both ladies used COPICs for coloring.
I must say that I was blown away by Caroline's talent, as I got to see many of her original drawings. We have a few cards left to sell in the studio. I do believe she will be famous someday, so I bought one to hold on to. Wink, wink!

Cosmo Cricket

The Cosmo Cricket is going quickly. I love the tiny yellow rose bud paper. We will re-order by end of month, as only a few pieces of each left (after Late Create). Those ladies lucked out with 4 different orders arriving on Friday. It was allot of fun seeing it all at once, but took all evening to check in.

Our Daily Bread

We now carry Our Daily Bread. If you are not familiar with this stamp company, you need to come look at them. Some were waiting on a favorite, and we had a line while we checked them in. Once I picked out the special orders, hands were grabbing.
They are so lovely and they have many, many nice Scriptures & Spiritual greetings.

Melissa Frances

Look at the lovely "Vintage" style papers of Melissa Frances. Since they are one sided papers, they are a bit cheaper per page.

My Mind's Eye

Here are some of the lovely papers we have now. Several of the series, Miss Caroline. Also Lost & Found, with the beautiful honeycomb printed paper. We have several of the stamps that go with that series too.

My Mind's Eye (Miss Caroline), Poppystamps Die Cuts, Our Daily Bread Stamps and more Prima SunKiss series. Mary has been busy all day checking in 4 orders that arrived. Since we have Late Create tonight, we will be marking it all night I'm sure.
Late Create is full, but you can still come in to shop until 9pm.

Also, Rebecca's Honeypop Paper & COPICs Cards Class is full for tomorrow. We may offer it again if we get more people on waiting list.
Hope to see you soon. Happy Creating!

You need to come and see them all.

Quilter Betty Franz

On Saturday we had a pleasant surprise from Teresa's mom, who brought in a quilt to share. It is stunning, so the photo does not do it justice. It's appliqué , so takes a bit longer to do. (I remember from my quilting days). Thank you for sharing Betty Franz.
I hope you enjoy seeing your art online. It is beautiful!

Designer Corner -Melody Poff

Melody surprised us with a lovely page of her & hubby, taken at our first Grand Opening. Who would have thought it would lead to designing for us. It was very nice of her to remember us in a page she designed.
She used paper from Simple Stories, Live Laugh Love, Always & Forever & Remember When.
Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Frayed Burlap & Say it With Crystals from Prima were also used.
Thank you Melody for a nice memory and wonderful page.

M&T week of March 20th.

Our M&T , which starts tomorrow is made with Authentique paper. The bird image is an Imaginisce stamp, a really cheap price too and so cute.
The sewing is faux, done with piercer and white gel pen from UniBall.
The card stock for backing and mat is from Tim Holtz Distress paper by Coredination.
Stop in this week and do the M&T for $3.00 Remember to bring your adhesive, scissors, pop dots and glue dots. Those are usually the basic supplies needed to do the M&Ts.

Thanks out to everyone who attended our Relocation Celebration on Saturday. It was a very nice day and lots of friends out to visit and shop. Thank you all!!

Please note that if you had ordered any stamps from
Our Daily Bread, they should arrive by Friday's Late Create. We'll send a note to those ladies as soon as it arrives.
Spellbinders arrive tomorrow, but please wait for us to unload and mark them, so late afternoon would be great. Only pre-orders will be filled first (and you know who you are).

Prima Papers are here...

We have 4 new collections from Prima Marketing; Almanac, Nature Garden, Songbird & Sun Kiss.

Paper Loft - Gentler Times

We received Gentler Times series from Paper Loft, the evening we were packing for Crop For Cure. It just made it in time and has sold well. This is a peek at one side of each. The other sides are just as gorgeous. A little something for everyone, with vintage cars, teapots and telephones, as well as fireflies and an assortment of solid papers.
I'm going to use at least one in my Spring cards class, which I'm working on today.
We are using the same M&T this week, as we did last week, since it was short week. I believe we will start changing the M&T cards to begin on Saturdays. Look for that this week.
Don't forget our "Relocation Celebration" on Saturday too.

M&T week of March 7th.

I did a male themed card this week, and will run this one through next week (since we are off to a late start and then will be closed this Saturday for Crop For Cure ).
The paper is from Graphic 45 and I added some stamped images of a compass and anchor to make it a bit more "male".
The ship image is from Prima. I love these little stamps that are only $1.99 and you get several images in the set.
The greeting is from Stamping Scrapping. They have some really nice stamps that match the Spellbinders for easy cutting.
I got the idea for my card from Gina K, who had a similar card on Stamp TV.

Impression Obsession Stamps

They have arrived....
Impression Obsession stamps (with the cutest beagle puppy stamp ever!)
We have already sold out of several items, but never fear, we will reorder, because I too want the beagle puppy stamp (and I'm a cat person).
Here are a few samples.

They finally arrived......the window die cuts. If you pre-ordered, please come by to pick yours up. We will hold them for a short period for pre-orders. If you missed out the first round, please let us know now what you would like.
We have 2 more orders already in and waiting on those. Soon there will be enough for everyone!(well for lots of people anyway.)
