Misters mystery....

I love the mini misters and I am putting more and more of my larger bottles of ink sprays, into them as well. Here is a small testing I did yesterday.
I used the brand on left first and sprayed the image. Then I poured the same spritzer into a mini mister and sprayed the same image (on different paper of course), and look at the difference.
So many uses for those misters. We have them individually or in pack of 3.

Don't forget we have Needle Felting tomorrow at 10:30 am, and still have some space left.
Also Black Lace card class at 1:00 pm.
Sunday is our first group meeting for Cricut Club. Call for info. 490 4790
Now back to Late Create tonight...until 11 pm.

Autism, Crop-Paper-Scissors event on April 30th.

A reminder to get your registration in for the Autism Crop, held at St. Mary's Auditorium.
From 9 am to 5 pm and the cost is $30. until April 1st. ( I doubt we will have any spots left by then, as we are filling quickly.) As of tonight, there are 35 registered and the limit is 100 lucky people. That is less than a week's first notice (of opening registration.)

We also have registrations at MTTC and if you e-mail there, we can forward one to you.
Scrapbook Central and Doodlebug will be there again for all your paper crafts need.

M&T for week of March 15th.

A late start to the week for me. I seem to be having brain clog on a regular basis. Is it the rain dampening our spirits, and wanting the sun to shine finally?!
I know this card's base is "darkened", but the flowers are starting to peep through and that's what I am waiting for...spring!
This is part of the Material Girl series, by Cosmo Cricket and the brownish card stock is Core'dinations. When you emboss it and then use sanding tool, the embossed image shows through. Some dew drops added to brighten it as well. Cost is $2.00
This Friday is Late Create night. Call to reserve your seat. 490 4790
Cost is $5.00 which includes light dinner and snacks.
Advanced Cricut Class is also being held, so come early and have something to eat before you start. (Must be pre-registered for class). Cost is $12.00

M&T for week of March 6th.

This week's M&T was barley finished when the Cricut Design Class started coming in. I was putting away the camera, not quite satisfied with final outcome, but had no more energy after rearranging the things we brought back from Crop. (Getting old is not for sissies).
I think we'll leave last week's out again too, until the kits are gone. So if you come in this week, you may be able to make 2 cards.
The red ribbon is from May Arts and it's a ruffled one, so cute. Of course the bow is a faux ribbon. Yes, the Stampendous Ribbon Stamp that we can hardly keep in stock. The little lace square is a MS corner punch, that is used on all sides to make this lacy doily. You can do it with several of hers, if you have the right side square. I believe I started with a 1 1/2" square. Cost is $2.00
I should also put an "under construction" sign on the table with what's left of "creativity area".
But she who has no mess, has no fun!

New display turn around....

Ever get excited about something new, and you know people will think you're weird? That's because it's not theirs. Well we are excited about our new turn around display shelving. It works perfectly and gives us so much more space to display even more things. So whether or not you are excited about it too, here is a photo and a little "yahoo" from me.

Crowded room

Here is the crowd from Crop For Cure. Lots of activity going on and tons of food. I couldn't help but get a shot of the fresh fruit. See you all next year, if not before! April 30th. is the Crop-Paper-Scissors, Autism Awareness Day. Mark your calendars.

Crop for Cure Frame Class

It's all over again for another year, and the Crop For Cure was a great success. Amanda Bulkley does an incredible job of planning and making it all happen. Of course there are all the wonderful volunteers, many names I don't actually know, but faces are very familiar, and friendly, each year. Ann Leek does lots of running for all the door prizes etc. The vendors have a great time and here is one class sample and a very satisfied Amanda showing off her lovely frame. All it needs now is a cute photo of her daughter to put inside.
