Valentine's Day is right around the corner and Teresa has created a couple of beautiful cards to share. The stamps are from Kaisercraft "Love Notes". The papers are from Lost & Found, Kissing Booth from Basic Grey, Melissa Frances' (Trinkets & Baubles), and some EK Success punches.
I received these markers, which are new to me, after CHA. I played with them a little today and had a few of our designers try them too. I'm very curious to know if anyone else has tried them and how they felt about them. We all know the big names ( and don't we all have our collection of them). It's always nice to try something new for comparison.
The Shin Han makers are alcohol based, come in a variety of colors, and are less expensive than some of the other brands.
If you would like to try them out, I only have 6 of the colors, but you can come in to the studio and play a bit. It's nice to have opinions from other crafters (or artists).
This collage of family memories was made by Bev Rainey (for her daughter). She used the Simple Stories "Generations" series. This line has some great tags and strips to use, along with the double sided paper prints.
If you want to see it close up and personal, it's hanging in our studio for a little while to display.
Sorry for late post of M&T. As soon as we got the studio computers online, my home computers went down. The postings I always do from home, so I'm way behind.
If you need a last minute card for Valentine's Day, we have one for you. Stop in through Saturday from 10am to 4pm and make it for $2.00
The paper is from Simple Stories, and is in the Yearography series. Also used is the Tim Holtz Kraft Core and Distress card stock.
If you haven't seen our new place, come by and take a look. We are still setting some things up, and figure we will get comfortable before we hang all the paintings we have. I'm still working on my office mess. As you know, you have to make a mess to clean a mess. Am I right?!!
Lastly, there are things we just couldn't bring along with us and have those items for sale today in the "old unit." This is one day sale, as we need to be out now. 10 am to 1pm (or if you want to stop by in between come to new area and ask). Then again from 4 to 7pm. Then it will be gone.
We have some tables, stamps and odd things to pass along.
We are in our new place and opened today! It would be untrue to say we are ready, as I am still cleaning off one side of workshop, but I think we can open with a small shout, and then have a regular "Grand Re-opening" when Mary is back from CHA. That will be good too, because I know she has lots to share.
